Interesting how she was partly responsible for Keisha's removal alongside yet some members still have sympathy for her and paint her as a victim. I wonder why

I find it just as interesting that people are completely unwilling to think that maybe, just maybe, Keisha did things that led to her departure also. She's also not an entirely innocent victim really is she? She spent 8 years saying absolutely nothing nice about Siobhan, she wouldn't even say her name in interviews and would only ever refer to her as "the other girl", it took her about 3 years to say anything nice about Mutya too. That is without getting into the things Siobhan used to say about her.

I really don't understand the horrible things people have to say about her. She isn't the strongest singer of the Sugababes but once Freak came out, did anybody actually care that Siobhan wasn't there anymore? Let's be honest, 9 out of 10 people at that point would only have ever heard Overload and maybe Run For Cover at a push.

Is she going to trouble the charts as a solo artist? Absolutely not but is any member of the Sugababes going to do so? Are the Sugababes even going to do so?

I find it just as interesting that you're willing to overlook the narrative Heidi & Amelle were both willing to spin in order to paint Keisha in a bad light.

But all of that is irrelevant now, Keisha is travelling the world, booked and busy with the band she was a founding member of. The others... Strictly will just have to do!

LOL you literally just ignored the fact that Siobhan said she left the band because Keisha bullied her, nothing to do with Heidi or Amelle saying it, and Keisha's own behaviour towards the two girls that left.

I wouldn't say Keisha was a bully (just Siobhan and Amelle apparently), but there was clearly issues within the band with her and other members as three members have verbally stated they did not want to work with her, and even Mutya said she was closer to Heidi than Keisha when she left (someone who was her childhood friend  ). There is too much consistency for Keisha to be entirely blameless in it.

Funny thing is Keisha is my favourite member of the group as the Sugababes are not the Sugababes without Keisha end of, it just did not work without her in the group, however anyone who truly thinks she was a 100% victim is delusional. Did she deserve to be kicked out? Hell no! Did she cause events which ended with her being kicked out? Very obviously!

I agree with all apart from not deserving to be kicked out. I'm not saying she did deserve to be, purely because we don't know what happened that caused that breakdown between Keisha, Heidi and Amelle but if her actions and her behaviours over that last 12 months were deemed that bad to have the record label ask Heidi and Amelle to come back to the band after they quit, maybe there was grounds for her removal. Obviously, not nice for Keisha and I did and do feel sorry for her, but I do find the revisionist history that comes from this band and some of its fanbase to be absolutely laughable.

As you say, Siobhan called her a bully. Keisha admitted that both her and Mutya went out of their way to ignore Heidi when she first joined. But sure, it's all Heidi and Amelle's fault because "the sacred three" or some shit.

I mean, you brought it up :D but sure, when somebody brings up statements from the girls themselves, it becomes irrelevant.

I love the Sugababes, all of them, but lets not pretend that their career from 2012 until 2022 was some glittering success. They did about as much as Heidi and Amelle did for the last decade.

Very well said. I love Keisha but she’s not blameless in it all.

Siobhan said she felt left out and bullied. They've later talked about how the "management" would unfortunately pit them against each other. She also talked about how she and Mutya would get drunk and Keisha would just roll her eyes.

Heidi kicked Keisha out - there's no way around it. She and Amelle pretended to break up the group and then "reformed" with Jade. Heidi dug her grave.

The Sugababes are Mutya , Keisha, and Siobhán. That’s a fact , let’s embrace it, and look to the future.

I think what Heidi did back in the day was totally wrong and quite stupid to be honest. I mean it doesn’t need a huge chunk of empathy to realise the consequences of the last original girl and no other than Keisha being kicked out. If it is THAT unbearable, you just split up for good, and now drive into the nonsense of 4.0. But I’m sure the management was also up there, as they had spent a ton of money on making Sweet 7.

That said, I think she totally understood how wrong she was, judging by that sobby reunión they had several years later. And Keisha is definitely part of the problem, judging by all the evidence we have. I’m actually not sure Keisha has realised everything she needed to realise on her side though, judging by her latest comment on Heidi.

But I am very happy that Mut, Keisha and Siobhan sorted everything out and seem really happy with each other, and that matters the most. Of course with the ageist industry the chances of them being successful again are ridiculously thin, but that doesn’t really depend on the quality of material, which is amazing.

But erasing Heidi from history and pretending it’s all and only about the ‘Sacred Three’ is… weird? As most, if not all, gigs that they have these days, they owe to the biggest hits on all of them except for Overload Heidi was part of.

Every member of the Sugababes will always be a 'Sugababe', i'm not here for the Heidi erasure when she was a humongous part of the success and deserves praise too.

I am a 2.0 stan but have come to terms that Heidi will never be back in the fold, luckily Siobhan has grown on me and I now stan 1.0 too.

The girls are all fine with each other, so lets stop attacking any of the girls. It's not funny or cool, just because you prefer the current line-up, we can enjoy previous members and appreciate their work and contribution.

Things happen, people change and people argue and fall out, it is life.

Heidi could always start a Sugababes cover band where she's at the center and sing at weddings!

She could call it, oh, I don't know Heidi, Formely of the Group Known As Sugababes, or Heidi (Insert Name Here) (Insert Name Here)

I mean would she make much money from that as I don't see anyone hiring her for that.......unless it is a die hard fan

You're literally so negative Sacred3, you don't have to like them but you constantly make bitter comments.

She was a huge part of the success of the Sugababes so get over it.

Just go listen to Jesy’s chart hit Bad Thing Ms Slayer

Are you mocking songs not charting when that can easily be said about those in your picture? Mutya’s songs from the past decade haven’t charted, nor did ‘The Lost Tapes’ or any song from there, it doesn’t make them ‘flops’ or mean the songs are bad.

You’d think you’d know chart positions don’t determine quality

But thank you for showing you are nothing but a bitter troll  You’re just an extremely negative individual.

Yeah I think mocking chart positions in a forum dedicated to the line up of a band whose singles chart history is 6, 12, 13, 30, 51 and an album that peaked at #18 (21 years after it failed to reach the top twenty) is a little ironic..

As said, poor chart positions don't mean bad material.

Have to agree with this and I love the original line ups music.
