S CLUB 7’s Paul Cattermole died suddenly of natural causes - less than two months after the pop group announced their reunion.

The singer, 46, was found dead in his modest ground floor flat in Wareham, Dorset leaving bandmates and fans devastated.

Dorset Coroner’s Service has now finished investigating the April 6 tragedy and revealed his cause of death for the first time.

A spokeswoman told The Sun: “I can confirm that Mr Cattermole died from natural causes and our investigations have concluded.”

It means no inquest will be held into the death of the Reach, Don’t Stop Movin’ and Bring It All Back hitmaker.

Dorset Police, who found his body, claimed their enquiries remain “ongoing”

So unbelievably sad :( I guess the only comforting thing with this is that his loved ones and band mates will now be spared having to endure a gruelling inquest.

Unfortunately, he was right at the age where a lot of men tend to get a heart attack but ignore the symptons because they feel like they're too young to have one.

In layman’s terms, what does that mean?

Heart attack would probably be the common description.

Speaking in a new interview, Rachel, Jo, Bradley, Jon and Tina share their memories of their beloved bandmate Paul and recall how they were informed of his death in April. "I think I just went completely silent at first. It was awful," Jo says when explaining how she and Jon were the first to hear from their management telling them of Paul's death.

"It was like someone had punched me in the stomach," Jon adds, as Tina shares how she was watching Tv at home with her son when she got the call on Thursday April 5. Paul's death was publicly announced the following day.

Speaking in a new interview, S Club recall how they had made panicked phone calls to Paul in the hours before he was discovered - explaining how they became worried when he stopped replying to their messages and answering their calls.

We’d done a Zoom call with him, all of us, on the Monday. Then our management had messaged him a few times and it hadn’t shown that it’d been read on WhatsApp," Jon recalls to The Sun. "So it was like, ‘Is he all right?’ But then it was like, ‘Yeah it’s Paul. You know, sometimes he doesn’t answer his phone’."

He continued to share how he phoned and messaged Paul the next day but received no reply - noting how "everyone was trying to get hold of him" but didn't manage to communicate with the late singer.

Jo added how Paul had been "so excited" about the upcoming reunion" so S Club will "make this as special as we possibly can" when the five of them take to the stage later this year. She continued to say: "We just remember him for the goofy Paul that he always was." Bradley explained how their late bandmate's presence "is so strong" and admits it doesn't really feel like Paul has gone at times.

The group also touched on Hannah's absence, following her decision to step back from the tour. Jon stated "it's a conversation for Hannah to have" but stressed "we've got loads of stuff" happening in the future so the door is always open for her. Tina added how "nothing bad" happened but everyone just needs their own space.

Speaking in the same interview, S Club revealed Paul's family have given them their blessing to move forward with a tour and shared how they believe Paul's spirit came to visit them on set while filming a video for their new single.

So sad :(

The only positive I can take is that he was truly honoured on tour and there was so much love for him!
