April 18, 20232 yr Author From their best single to their best non-single quite possibly? Such a missed single opportunity! Would love to hear it on tour if it goes ahead  always think of the Hollywood 7 performance at the abandoned plane desert
April 18, 20232 yr Show Me Your Colours would have been a great midtempo single, a great vehicle for Rachel. With its position as track 2 on the album, it makes me wonder if it might have been a potential planned single? Would have made a nice double a-side with You.
April 18, 20232 yr This was a huuuuge missed opportunity! Absolutely my favourite album track by them.
April 18, 20232 yr Author 03 You JWYOtrvWv6I (video is single mix which is slightly different to the album version but it appears the latter isn't on YouTube!!)
April 18, 20232 yr You  Always reminding me of the times they showed this on the carnival tour documentaries they shows on cbbc on saturday mornings.
April 18, 20232 yr Author Hollywood 7 was the most recent series when I got into S Club, and this being the theme tune brings back SO many memories alone!!! An underrated single even if I'd still place it low down a rank. Love the single mix with Jon and Bradley's vocals even more!
April 18, 20232 yr You isn't a huge favourite but I can see why it was a single. It's bright and breezy, although could have been released in 1999 tbh so felt like a slight backwards step as a single to me? They're not that different but I think the single mix is better, the vocal distribution worked well with giving some of the guys a part, Bradley's middle eight for example.
April 18, 20232 yr As pointed out on Discord: "I'm in love... with... yooou.... YOU! ARE ALL I NEED TO GET ME THROUGH" A transition! It's a nice and cheerful bop, but nevertheless it's definitely lower down my singles rank. It's interesting how they changed it up for the single mix to have different members singing certain lines.
April 18, 20232 yr Author Have You Ever is such a beauty, Jo sounds so good on it  fairly sure it was the first single I ever bought too!
April 18, 20232 yr In a minority I'm sure, but I prefer Have You Ever to Never Had A Dream Come True, it's a seriously lovely song and it's maybe Jo's best ever vocal? She sounds so much like Karen Carpenter on this, such a timeless feel to it. Also the iconic video with Tina tuning in for wind turbines on TV, and the evening swim  Edited April 18, 20232 yr by gooddelta
April 18, 20232 yr You felt like a slight backwards step as a single to me? I think it was Paul who said in an interview at some point that it wasn't the song he felt they should have gone with as a single at that point, that it felt regressive after a step forward with Don't Stop Movin'. I'm inclined to agree!
April 18, 20232 yr I adore Have You Ever! I was dismayed that it left the singles survivor rather early
