October 10, 20231 yr I think Jenkin and Jordan are my faves so far, Jordan gives me Alex from BB3 vibes, not your typical contestant but very quirky. Olivia is by far my least, probably good for drama but very fake and 2faced is what I get from her along with very attention seeking.
October 10, 20231 yr I'm really not sure who will go first, Olivia was the obvious but she will stay for a while now I think. I'm thinking Henry, Chanelle or maybe a shock in Farida or Jenkin? It could just come down to nothing. I'm guessing Farida and Jenkin will pick up a fair amount of noms if things stay the same. Farida may get a load off the back of the stupid salmon-gate thing. I mean it was a load of nothing, but wouldn't surprise me if people just use it as an excuse. She also said in the diary room about cliques forming - and she doesn't really appear to be part of anything. Chanelle; fingers crossed she is. I can't see Henry being nommed at all at this stage. Whilst political he is awful, he seems to have fitted himself into the house fairly well. Edited October 10, 20231 yr by ElectroBoy
October 10, 20231 yr If it is Farida and Jenkin, that'll make for a wild first eviction as both are fairly well liked by the public! Exciting to see. Ideally for me it'd be one of the ones not contributing much but you can't have it all.
October 10, 20231 yr Watched the Launch and Episode 2 last night. That Launch, eek. I have to say Channel 5 was on par with how they produced the live shows in contrast to Channel 4. I wasn't sure what to make of that hot mess. It's giving Big Brother Australia 2nd reboot. Overproduced and the VTs were pretty low quality. Everything else however, very good! They all seemed like great housemates with great potential, but now I'm starting to see some favourites rise to the top and a few that I know I won't be throwing my support behind. I'm glad this is back!
October 10, 20231 yr I’m thinking Jenkin might be first out sadly, it will be him or Farida up for sure. I pray it’s vote to save and one of the boring ones are nominated and they go. I think it might be tbh because this reboot does seem to be more positive leaning, they’ve said to be kind to the housemates etc, so I think that vote to save fits in with that but then vote to evict is such a classic key BB thing so idk. I just think in 2023, where there’s more a duty of care to reality contestants etc., there’s not really in place for vote to evict as sensitive/“woke” as that might sound?

If its only 2 up and it is Jenkin/ Farida, then i'd say Jenkin would stay mainly as he has featured more and people (i'm guessing would feel sorry for him - given his entrance/ yesterdays HLs). But will be interesting to see how it goes; Given there are 16 HMs and only 6 weeks to get rid of them, there must be a few double evictions coming at some point.
October 10, 20231 yr It’s only been two days but the only thing I kind of wish is that the cast was a bit smaller? There’s a fair few giving absolutely nothing who are filler, but I think that might be more down to there being bigger characters and a lot of people who are more muted just can’t get a word in. It will be a huge shame to lose say Jenkin or Farida first and be left with the likes of Zak, Marty, Tom and Paul.
October 10, 20231 yr Author Everyone i've spoke to in real life has been absolutely loving this reboot! Love hearing all the positivity
October 10, 20231 yr Everyone i've spoke to in real life has been absolutely loving this reboot! Love hearing all the positivity  Same for me, its been positive from any one i heard talking about it, Great to see the ratings have held up well on the 2nd night.
October 10, 20231 yr This series is already better than the last like 10 series for me, it’s been great and so fascinating to watch. If I was in there I’d personally be voting Farida, as lovely as she seems she’s so loud and in your face. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s the first out.
October 10, 20231 yr Another great episode, Hallie dealt with Faridas questioning in such tact - her questioning came from a good place even if it was worded in a dodgy way potentially.
October 10, 20231 yr I definitely have some stronger opinions forming today. The "lads" of Zak, Dylan and Paul are coming across surprisingly pleasant and nice, I enjoyed how much they were looking out for Yinrun today as well as the conversation with Matty at the party and making him feel welcomed among a group of people he's obviously not used to hanging out with. It was a heartwarming moment that I wasn't expecting (and Matty seems so pure, he's a favourite so far). I'm loving Yinrun more and more every time I see her, she's so innocent and cute  the scene with Trish and Dylan and the razor was brilliant too. On the other hand, Chanelle hasn't offered anything positive at all yet so she's one of my least favourites. Olivia's proving to be a nuisance - I know she meant well when she spoke to Yinrun but I thought it was an unnecessary way of approaching it. Can't say I'm liking Henry that much either, even away from his political views. I could tell Farida meant well with the questions she asked Hallie, and the latter took them exceptionally well when she owes nobody an explanation of her life at all (Hallie being such an open book is amazing, she doesn't have to do it but I'm so grateful as a viewer that she is, because it's so eye-opening and inspiring). I'm glad they both clarified their positions at the end. Can see how Farida's starting to rub some people up the wrong way so noms are inevitable sadly. Kerry jumping out of bed immediately to get Jenkin some clothes from his suitcase!

October 10, 20231 yr Nominations not being revealed until Thursday! Going to give us a fairly short window - I swear it was always Tues/Wednesday in the C5 era.
