this went outside Top 40 in matter of days in Global Spotify, I guess the autoplay was indeed the reason it climbed last week so much

Still holding well in UK though!!!

I did think those 2 million a day youtube views were super high!

This was at #9 on Amazon Music yesterday but it's down to #14 now. I know Dua was on the cover of a big playlist on that platform.

Does anyone know what price it is on UK iTunes at the moment?

UK:

Spotify #16 (-2) 172,274 streams

Apple Music #31 (-3)

Amazon #14 (-4)

It's been quite stable this week. Moved down to #6 on HHUK today

Fingers crossed when the movie comes out it will turn into the next Shallow :kink:

It is more likely to turn into the next Hold My Hand, IMO. :arrr:

Solomon Islands Apple Music Song Chart:

1. “Dance The Night” (+66) *New Peak*

— 1st #1 on Apple Music worldwide

Spotify (19/06)

WW: #49 (+8) — +1,819,088 streams *Peak: #15*

UK: #21 (+8) — +150,155 streams *Peak: #8*

US: #103 (+17) — +349,506 streams *Peak: #29*

FR: #85 (+6) — +80,678 streams *Peak: #53*

AU: #21 (=) — +85,847 streams *Peak: #9*

Finally a positive update :cheer:

Apple have also woken up and moved it up to track 11 on their Today's Hits playlist. Also top 10 at US pop and Hot AC radio!

Dance the Night is not her best work but is good and I did believe it would be much bigger right now than it is.

This has grown but it's very much an inferior clone of 'Levitating', right down to the double hand claps and everything.

I hope it doesn't swallow away hype for when she unleashes the lead single for DL3 (presumably) later in the year.

I think they're using it as a bit of a stepping stone for the lead single but it's just a fun soundtrack bop really. Even the music video is basically an advert for Dua's new Versace designer collection

Dua got into Amazon's good books with this release at least which is great as it's a growing metric in the UK.

I really want this to go top 10 - she would tie Rita for most UK top 10s for British female artist. Sales are so close right now, they could easily do it with a bit of extra playlist or iTunes promo or physical release, send a mailer out to UK fans
