Americano so love / hate :gaga: I find it unlistenable at times oops. The vocals go straight through me and that's rare for me to say for r Gaga

This!!!

Born This Way would be a perfect album had that not been on it, I love the production and structure but the delivery just feels off it’s my only skip on Born This Way although I do occasionally listen to it when I do a full album listen.

So happy Before I Cry has smashed it here. What a beauty  Free Woman and I Like It Rough are HUGE faves for me too!! Sinner's Prayer is decent and one of the better Joanne album tracks! A great selection there.. and Venus is there too!

Can you go a little faster?

| 15 // John Wayne // 8.21

At joint #15th :kink: we have Joanne's bad boy - John Wayne. Co-produced by Mark Ronson and Bloodpop, the song was debuted at the 2016 Victoria Secret Fashion Show in Paris alongside A-Yo. The song received an official music video but was never serviced for radio and so remains an album track here. In the song, Gaga confesses her love for a cowboy-rebel in an ode to Americana. She fantasises in the song about a wild man to ride away into the distance with. It's a song about desire and daydreaming about an unattainable and larger than life rebel without a cause. The music video, directed by Jonas Åkerlund is the third and final instalment of the Joanne music video trilogies.

| 15 // 1000 Doves // 8.21

Also at joint #15th :kink: we have the slowest moment from Chromatica and perhaps the most sensitive and restrained. 1000 Doves was also included as a piano version on the digital version of the album. Gaga stated that the piano version was how it was originally intended to be heard, but her friends and producers convinced her to create the dance version we hear on the album now. In its original form, it is in the third and final section of the album and is Gaga's "cry for help". It has Gaga revealing that she will also try to do her best, like she did when she first started out and things were tough. She also states that the song is about how we cannot do everything alone and that sometimes we need others to lift us up. It is ok to seek for help. A beautifully structured and sung song with hugely important lyrics - it is wholly revealing of the pain that is felt throughout most of the album.
