Two Chromatica tracks out in a row, and we can now crown Babylon as our favourite album track from that album! The final song on the album, the one that closes proceedings, was teased initially as part of a Haus Labs remix. This eventually was released as part of the Dawn of Chromatica album release but it was the album's original version that has shot it well into the top 5 here. Gaga explained that the song, although closing the album, is also part of a new beginning. The album is Gaga dancing through her pain and this culminates in the explosive dance track here. Issues such as gossip, that have haunted Gaga, now become a "silly construct" that she can dance through.

Born This Way's Heavy Metal Lover is in 3rd place. Introduced initially on Gagavision, the song was the final one to be recorded for the album. It makes reference to the album's title track and went on to be performed at all dates for the Born This Way Ball. It's a fully charged and loaded song, with sordid demands and catchy hooks. Intoxicating production fuels the song as Gaga takes to the streets ready to cause a ruckus. The song is about an ex-lover of Gaga and how she balances her career, stardom and relationships.

 

Two Born This Way album tracks top 3 is so deserved. This has smashed it and done a lot better than I thought it would - but so happy ot has done so. Monster track in every possible way!!!!
