Next up we have Joanne's Dancin' In Circles. A song that discusses female masturbation it has also taken on several different meanings by fans over the years. The song came out of a jamming session with Beck and Mark Ronson and is a stomper of a barn jam. In the electrifying song, Gaga sings about having fun with yourself and embracing her loneliness - a very pertinent song to include straight after the previous one in this countdown.

Definitely a highlight on Joanne but perhaps a bit too high here? Standard is super high now though so it's tough :drama:

Joint 12th place now and it's the album opener, tour opener and one of the first tracks we heard from ARTPOP. Originally titled Burqa, the song is about female power, freedom and identity. The song was planned to be the lead single from the album but this was later replaced with Applause and the song never saw single treatment. After disagreeing with her label's decision, Gaga made a fake profile on Gagadaily and uploaded a leaked demo of the song. The final version of the song saw some alterations and more frenzied screams - jury is still out for which version is superior.

And with 2 ARTPOP tracks in a row, we now say goodbye to the final album track from that era! In joint 12th place it's Sexxx Dreams. The song is about a fantastised encounter with someone whose boyfriend has gone away for the weekend. It is inspired by her erotic fantasies and delivered in a playful manner. There was a complete journey involved in the creation of the song and the end product has Gaga both singing and speaking as if talking to another. A fun track, filled to the brim with personality - it ranks as the highest album track from ARTPOP joint with Aura!

I think Gypsy deserves the title of highest ARTPOP album track but this is a second place easily. What a fun stomper - still doesn't grow tired on me at all :wub:

Sexxx Dreams is amazing and deserves top ten here. Glad it got this close though...
