I still really love Sweet Temptation, still not sure that sounded like the flop it turned out to be to my ears. For My Sins and Something About You definitely sounded like big hits too.

 

Scandipop is a funny genre, sometimes it really takes off and dominates and other times (usually when the vocalist is a little less capable or the production is a little thinner/more generic) it just fails to qualify, a few of the above fit into the latter - mostly perfectly enjoyable songs but missing that spark that kicks them up a gear into the final. It used to be my genre of choice, but the rare occasions I go back to it (Of Wild - Haddaway, Sally Shapiro - Forget About You) it just seems to end up being songs I dearly adore that just fall a bit flat for everyone else.
