The first part of Slime You Out really drags it down but it gets better from SZA's part - who delivers a brilliant verse. The song is needlessly long as well.

It could grow on me over time. Still excited to hear the album next week.

Oh, absolutely love this. His best in years, feels like I've gone back to 2015-2017 and in a good way (not Like Zaras new song lol).

Yeah with that new release he should easily get another UK #1 album!

Will also mean at last three weeks of decent #1 sales with Kylie and then Ed in the weeks before hand (and Olivia had really good sales last week and should hold up well this week).

well this ain’t a number one hit …

Maybe not in the UK (looks like a low top 10 debut) but appears it's doing what it needs to in the US, Drake heading for his 12th Hot 100 #1 which will tie him for the 5th most of all time alongside Madonna and The Supremes. (Would be tied 4th with Michael Jackson on 13 if you count 'SICKO MODE').

'Slime You Out' is at #10 on the UK charts this week! I really feel like the right song from this album could hit #1 on the UK singles chart come October 13th for some reason!
The song is definitely a huge improvement on 'Search & Rescue' for me, it is maybe a little carried by SZA but I don't think Drake's parts are bad either.
'Slime You Out' did hit no. 1 on the Hot 100 this week! Drizzy is now tied with Michael Jackson as the male soloist with the most Billboard Hot 100 #1s of all time (If you count Sicko Mode)!
Some sources give Elvis 17 or 18 #1s in the US but a lot of those predate the Hot 100 existing (I'm not sure which chart is being counted as canonical for those pre-Hot 100 hits). He's only had 7 #1s on the Hot 100.
Do we definitely think this will drop on Friday? Or do we expect yet another pushback lol

He has put the date on a pinned instagram post alongside the date so it should happen. But you never know lol

why count sicko mode cos he was in it but not credited, then count we are the world wfor michael jakson too
Drake is credited as a feature on the official upload on YouTube and I think was briefly credited on Apple Music as well. It's a reasonable thing to mention at least as a footnote. Not exactly the same thing as just being one voice among a collective (and besides if you're making that point then The Jackson 5's #1s put MJ well clear).

Album apparently dropping at 6am EST (11am UK time), he just has to be different again xx

The tracklist is out but without features listed. 'Search & Rescue' isn't on there (good), he posted another song from the album on Instagram earlier today ('8am In Charlotte').

I see theres a Dua Lipa cover (IDGAF)!!

It’s out now, features Bad Bunny, J. Cole, a 2nd SZA collab and a few more features

Interestingly the Bad Bunny collab is #1 on NMF UK but not the US NMF
