I'm sorry but that Christmas single is absolutely awful, I'm not sure I'll even enjoy it in the festive season. It has production values so cheap it could give Claire Richards a run for her money.

100% THIS!!!

First of all, there is a separate thread for DJPACS.

Secondly, the production is EVERYTHING. It is very reminiscent of the Believe album, which is no surprise as the legendary Mark Taylor is behind it.

This isn't your average Sky Adamas / Steve Anderson production that is done on a budget.

Thirdly, I'll be enjoying it all year. I'll just be humming 'DJ, play a different song' instead. B-)

Nice! First performance on UK television since The X Factor in 2013?

I believe so, yeah, although Graham Norton will air before The Royal Variety Performance.

They are playing the long game with this then, hopefully that extra releases tying in with Graham Norton will give her a good boost!
Is anyone surprised that a Cher Christmas album is naff and cheap? Everything Cher has done since the turn of the millennium has been tacky. Her and bad taste go hand in hand. Not even Michael Bublé, the King of Christmas, will be enough to save Cher's album in the UK. She might as well release Dancing Queen II.

I like the album tbh some really good ones. Although it does appear she has now fully transitioned into a robot despite no official sources yet.

Watch her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:

Check out her duet with Darlene Love ♥️ of Baby Please Come Home on US TV:

Hopefully the album rises following her performance and appearance on GN. Still think it would have been better to release this week tbh.

#7

Number 7 is a great result for her this week, probably wont hold up but hopefully it will be enough to get a new top 20 peak.

I'm loving What Christmas Means to Me at the moment. It has such a Motown feel. Cher's voice compliments Stevie's. They go well together. She sounds very soulful here.

Her voice really shines on this album. She has never sounded better.

Was still #7 in the charts yesterday, hopefully it can stay top 10 for the end of the week, if not it looks like it will manage top 20 at least.

UK promo continues this Saturday with Cher Meets Rylan on BBC Two:

It will be a Cher night on BBC Two, as Cher @ the BBC & Witches of Eastwick will also be repeated.
