Padam is a God-awful and irritating song.

You may dislike it, but “God-awful” is surely doing a lot. Why don’t you expand on your thoughts about what specifically about it is so bad for you? I’m interested!

 

I personally don’t understand how a fan of either Minogue could consider a song like this to be terrible. Padam Padam must have something special about it to have enabled Kylie to connect with a wider audience, her age be damned. I think it’s so infectious, sleek and vibrant. It just has something about it that elevates it into being something special. Sure, it won’t be to everyone’s tastes, but I suspect that most music fans would recognise that it’s a well constructed song and wouldn’t say that it’s technically awful even if they don’t vibe with it.
