Posted July 25, 20231 yr A new documentary about Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett titled “The Lady and The Legend” will be released this September on Paramount+. The document will chart Gaga and Bennett's iconic 10 year friendship from his support of her during the ARTPOP era right up to their final performance together at Radio City Music Hall. We will be watching!
July 25, 20231 yr I'm more excited for this than the Chromatica Ball footage. Is that bad? just thinking about the footage we'll be getting possibly dating back to 2011??
July 26, 20231 yr I would think TCB will be a movie with a higher concept, not a documentary. But yeah, very excited for both!
July 26, 20231 yr Author The upcoming doc The Lady and the Legend will chronicle Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s 10-year relationship, including the making of Cheek to Cheek during the ARTPOP era. “We met Gaga at a time when she was not feeling great about things—you know, ARTPOP,” Danny Bennett tells Variety. “And you watch Tony nurturing her, and telling her to move straight ahead and believe in herself. And then all of a sudden at the end, she is supporting him.”
November 20, 20231 yr The exact date seems to be December 13. Great timing for the holidays! A film commemorating Tony Bennett’s illustrious career and his decade-long musical journey with Lady Gaga. December 9, 20231 yr If Paramount+ has it already, why would they delay it... so weird. Maybe we get an official announcement soon.
December 12, 20231 yr Author There is a lot of ill will towards her team because of the delaying of this but I'm not sure it has anything to do with them?
December 12, 20231 yr I don't think so, considering this WAS on MTV's schedule, I saw it myself. It's probably something to do with Paramount, whatever the issue is...
