August 16, 20231 yr Author Although she has one of the best videography of all time, she definitely doesn't have good lyric videos. The Cure one is the biggest mis-step especially because we didn't get an official music video either so that's all we have :(

August 19, 20231 yr I love the Applause video. It's simple and artistic, very Gaga but nit over the top. It also fits the song perfectly.

One thing that bothered me about the Applause promo was that all of the promotion and TV performances were concentrated in the US, giving the song great longevity in the US (14 consecutive weeks in the top 10) but poor longevity in other countries. She should have done like Katy and performed the song on TV shows in other countries as well.
