Well done to Hudson-Smith! It did look like he might win for a good portion of that race but second is still a fantastic result.

Rojas just taking the win in the Triple Jump - one exceptional jump there after only just making the Top 8 in the third round!

Fourth for Hughes in the 200m - a close one but sadly he couldn't hold it until the end! A pretty stunning run for Jackson in the women's race as well.

Ben Pattison claimed a shock 800m bronze medal with a sensational run on his World Championships debut as Great Britain's women made the 4x100m podium.

 

Pattison looked in disbelief after crossing the line in one minute 44.83 seconds to earn his first global medal.

 

The 21-year-old is the first British man to win a world 800m medal since Peter Elliott in Rome in 1987.

 

GB's Asha Philip, Imani-Lara Lansiquot, Bianca Williams and Daryll Neita took 4x100m bronze.

Good to see those two bronze medals yesterday and that was an exciting finish to the 5000m just now.

2nd and 5th places on 800m are not enough. :(

Indeed - the first Indian gold at the World Championships which is really nice to see!
