'Plastic Bag' sounds like it probably could have been a hit if he pushed it as a single. Kind of sticks out like a sore thumb on the album - really surprised that song is apparently also solely produced by Aaron Dessner? - but it is easily one of the highlights. I also really liked 'Magical', 'Midnight' and 'Head > Heels', and to a lesser extent 'That's On Me' (also stands out a bit from the rest of the tracklist with the semi-rapped verses) and 'Punchline'. Not gonna be coming back to the rest, largely pleasant but forgettable. 'American Town' is one of the worst songs on there for me along with 'The Day I Was Born'.

It is, but it's slow anddire, with him pretending to be an indie guitar player like Oasis. Awful. I'll stick with the og!
