A great 50's retro style to it and a singer who can reach notes others autotune to aspire to. Duran Duran first went top 5 in 1981, and hey presto they Danse Macabre back there 42 years later, 5 chart-toppers and dozens of top 10's later. Delta Goodrem has had to wait 21 years to grab a first top 10, Back To Your Heart is fab, and better late than never. Meryl Streep goes top 20 with the charming musical theatre lullaby from a great TV show, The Killers rocket top 30 with the New Order-ish Your Side Of Town almost 2 decades on from me buying their debut album, and Lucia & The Best Boys get a 3rd top 40 with Burning castles. Florence + The Machine bring Dog Days Are Over back thanks to Guardians Of The Galaxy 3, in at 45, and other returning acts include Callum Scott, Kylie Minogue and Cruel Summer back 4 years after going top 10 for Taylor Swift. That leaves Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake teaming up again after 16 years, with Nelly Furtado being absent for 11 years, Timbaland 12 years, and Justin Timberlake a few years. Have you never charged dog days are over before? I actually don't understand why it's constantly in he charts these days. Fancy enlightening me? Fab chart ^_^ Hey James! :) Vampire is going to be hanging around (presumably upside down in a dark closet) for a while I think, and I need to hear some of the new album when I get a mo :) Dog Days Are Over was a big hit for me back in the day (twice in the 00's) but it's back now cos of Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 - after the fab emotional and uplifting ending they play out to Florence. So that'll keep it charting for years to come I reckon cos it's a film to come back to. (I've seen it twice already) Yes, oopsie Freak me Now has peaked, Single Soon has shot up into the 40 this week for me, Tension I havent downloaded yet so just up a bit, and Cruel Summer went top 10 in 2019 so this is second-time around, but not quite as fresh as it was first-time for me, so just up a bit too. :D Thanks for the comments!
