Meryl Streep gets a first top 10, and Lucia & The Big Boys get a 2nd with Burning Castles. Highest climber is Sophie Ellis-Bextor's Beyond The Universe, up 52 to 14, keeping her run of big chart hits here to 23 years, give or take the odd year in between. Agnetha Faltskog had her first top 40 track in 1983 and 40 years on she's up for another just ahead of Abba's 50th anniversary. Highest new entry is Purple Disco Machine, still on a roll at 50 with Something On My Mind, while SIA returns after a bit of a gap for 20 years of chart action, 25 if you count Zero 7, Gimme Love at 70. Bright Light Bright Light is on around 10 or so chart entries to date, and never had a hit anywhere, which is a shame, but new at 83, Roisin Murphy gets another track off the new album, and surving Monkee Micky Dolenz pops in with his jolly version of REM's Shiny Happy People. I wasn't charting in 1967 but The Monkees 100% would have topped my charts several times.
