I voted for my own suggestion of top 40 rundowns.

for me:

best option 10/10 is the Nows album, great that starts in the 80s already and you get a good grasp of the history of music, also advancing in order and systematically

 

second best option the #3s 8/10 although it would sure include a lot of meh/bad songs

 

least favourite option is the last one, if I understand it well, it's too random and I see no purpose cos there's no beginning no end

for me a 0/10 option

I've had a think and I'll change my mind to UK #3s, having looked through them, I think there'd probably be less repeats overall and I didn't figure before how many Nows we'd have! :lol:

 

I'd be happy with the Pick of the Pops thing too though, it's just the lack of structure and an end date that prevents it from being my first choice. But I suppose a random generator for that week in any year between 1952 and 2023 for a certain amount of time would be quite good fun.
