Yaasssss thank god, she really deserved that. Sad for Annalisa coming so close again (top 5 three times now, and 3rd twice) and not getting there, but La Noia is great and it is huge for someone in their first year of fame winning Sanremo with such a great song and professional performance.

Poor Annalisa, although for me while the song was great it wasn’t my absolute favourite song she’s ever done. One day she will win!

 

Glad we got a woman despite the thumping televote for Geolier there.

this song is amazing! thank god it beat Geolier.

So things turned out to be messy for the broadcaster, as RAI supports Israel, which drew criticism from many people. Ghali is the most vocal critic in the festival. Since the RAI statement, there have been protests outside the headquarters.

Overall, I think this is the best Sanremo edition in years and there are a couple of good finds! The production quality is a big step up too!

 

Geolier is actually not that bad :o I quite enjoy the production actually!

 

I rated quite a lot of these lowly because I don't quite like that processed male vocal in these tracks which sound very flat to me, but I understand this is probably typical of Italian pop music.

I'm gettin winners vibes from this :o
