Last night (Friday 17th November 2023), a 23-year-old Swiftie by the name of Ana Clara Benevides died at Taylor Swift's sold out show at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Various sources say that the temperature inside the venue was at least 50°C (122°F), and the vents were completely shut. The venue wouldn't allow people to bring in their own water bottles, and the prices of water at the stadium were too expensive for most people there. People in the crowd were even begging for water while Taylor was on stage. Over one thousand people in the venue collapsed due to the heat/being dehydrated. Ana Clara Benevides was one of those that collapsed, but unfortunately she suffered a cardiac arrest and died.
