Djokovic has withdrawn with a leg injury, which makes Jannik Sinner the new world number 1!

Also guarantees a first time French Open champion. Now's your chance, Ruud.

how lucky Ruud, such a mediocre and undeserving player

glad Alcaraz is in semis too, Tsitsipas played like shite at times, seemed like the 999th in the world

I feel like Sabalenka's exit is one of those classic Women's tennis shocks by an unknown player who will have one great tournament then never be heard of again.

I think Andreeva is the real deal, this is only her 5th slam appearance and already the 3rd time she's at least made it to the last 16, but it does feel like classic WTA that either her or Paolini is making the final.

I was only able to watch the first set yesterday, but Sabalenka did not look well. She's not my favourite but it is a shame to see her streak of making at least the semi-finals come to an end.

What a semis with Alcaraz-Sinner, a classic of classics, Alacaraz deserved it :)

The women's final seemed like it could be exciting for all of about ten minutes.

I hope the men's can end up just as one-sided, in favour of Alcaraz

Alcaraz has become the youngest ever male player to win grand slams on all 3 surfaces, this guy is gonna dominate the sport injuries permitting.

the final was incredible, great match, sometimes he kinda drops the focus and then misses a game

and sometimes I still feel like he's afraid of injuring himself and doesn't hit that hard

glad Sinner and Alcaraz are 1 & 2 right now, Djok has been playing awfully

Spaniards Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal will team up to be doubles partners at next month's Olympic Games in Paris.

The tennis will be played on clay at Roland Garros - home of the French Open - where 21-year-old Alcaraz was victorious last week, securing his third Grand Slam title.

Nadal, 38, is a 22-time major winner, with a record 14 championships coming at Roland Garros.

The Games begin on 26 July with the tennis tournaments starting a day later.

"One pair, which I think everyone knows and was hoping for, is Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal," said Spain's national team coach, David Ferrer.

Emma Raducanu continued her Wimbledon preparations by cruising into the quarter-finals of the Nottingham Open with a straight-set win over Ukraine's Daria Snigur.

Raducanu - playing only her second match since April after deciding to skip the French Open to focus on her fitness - made light work of the world number 127 to win 6-2 6-2.

She will face compatriot Fran Jones or American Ashlyn Krueger in the last eight.

In the men's Challenger event, Cameron Norrie suffered a shock 1-6 6-4 6-4 loss to world number 773 Jack Pinnington Jones.

Jack Draper has defeated defending champion Frances Tiafoe in the Stuttgart Open, to progress to the semi-final. Good news as he's replacing Cameron Norrie as the British men's #1 from Monday!

Emma Raducanu will play fellow Briton Katie Boulter in her first WTA semi-final since 2022 after opponent Fran Jones withdrew from their last-eight match in the Nottingham Open.

Jones, 23, another Briton, was scheduled to face Raducanu on Saturday in a match carried over from Friday because of rain, but was forced to pull out with a shoulder injury.

Jack Draper is into the third ATP final of his career - and the first on grass - after breezing past unseeded American Brandon Nakashima at the Stuttgart Open.

The 22-year-old sixth seed, who beat defending champion Frances Tiafoe, of the USA, in the quarter-finals, hit 13 aces and 35 winners in a 6-3 6-3 victory.

Draper will meet former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in Sunday's final.

Britain's Jack Draper came from a set down to beat Italy's Matteo Berrettini and seal a maiden ATP Tour title at the Stuttgart Open.

Draper, 22, lost the opening set but held his nerve to register a 3-6 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 victory on grass in Germany.

It was Draper's third appearance in an ATP Tour final and the first time he has been successful.

Get in Jack. Let’s hope he can back it up with a good Wimbledon run

So happy for Draper, on course to be seeded at Wimbledon so that should help (unless he gets a Berrettini re-match in the first two rounds )

Katie Boulter managed to defend her Nottingham title as well, a good day for the Brits!
