Seen some posts online that they're working with The Weeknd!

Here we go! 2 tracks out. This sounds like we're straight back to the Justice we know and trust.

Wow at both of these, Generator particularly is mindblowing. I ought to check their back catalogue properly really, I'm only really familiar with a few of their songs.
Both of these do sound promising. Generator sounds like it could have been on their debut - which is still their best album for me

#10 in the chart update today for the album. It could plummet a fair bit from here but considering #35 is their highest album chart placing so far for Audio, Video, Disco this could very well cling on and outpeak that.

Has anyone listened to it yet? Considering it's been 8 years since their last release I thought I'd be more keen but found myself listening to their debut instead yesterday  maybe I'll get a listen in before the week is out.

The other Tame Impala collab 'Neverender' is the focus track this week and has also been added to 6 Music's playlist today.

Kind of surprised at the mixed critic reviews (67 score on AOTY, 6.3 from Pitchfork). Is it because they're French?

I think Sega Bodega released a stronger album this week but this is enjoyable, cohesive and well produced. No duds. 'Dear Alan' was a standout from the album tracks. Even 'Saturnine' which I found meh sounded better in album context with 'Muscle Memory' right before it.

Neverender is now a single. This week it has had a video released and some remixes

So I never got round to listening to this in the release week nor any week in 2024 until today

It's an okay album, solid production but I did find myself drifting in terms of staying attentive in listening to it. It all just seemed to merge into one. Generator is a standout track from the singles and I really enjoyed Muscle Memory/Harpy dream (it drew me back in towards the end).
