Obsessed with her new album ORQUÍDEAS.

Red Moon in Venus was one of my favourites of last year, and I'm loving this one just as much if not more.

She's so consistently good! Four great albums in a row now

There are a few that seem like smashes waiting to happen – Igual Que Un Ángel and Tu Corazón Es Mío... especially.

Those two, along with Perdiste and No Hay Ley Parte 2 are on repeat for me at the moment.

May we have this split into a separate thread? x

Will give the new album a listen soon, looking forward to hearing more Spanish language stuff from her. 'Igual Que Un Ángel' is looking like it could be a pretty big hit for her, smart choice to collab with Peso Pluma.

Done!

I haven't listened to the album In full yet but the Peso Pluma collab is a bop!

I can see why 'Igual Que Un Ángel' is the one that's taking off but I found it a bit disappointing on first listen oops, it doesn't really sound much like either a Kali or Peso song, it's just like a Latin flavoured version of 'Sunroof' / 'Cupid' - would say it's a bit better than those two songs but not a highlight of the album for me personally.

I think this album has fewer songs I care for overall than 'Red Moon In Venus' but the highs are definitely higher - while 'I Wish You Roses' was the only song I really loved from the last album, there's a handful of excellent songs on here, 'Te Mata' in particular is quite a masterpiece  (I know that was a single but hadn't heard it until now). Also thought the album both opened and closed on great notes, loved the unexpected electronic flavour on '¿Cómo Así?' and then 'Dame Beso // Muévete' just goes full Encanto soundtrack and I am forced to stan *.* 'Pensamientos Inclusivos' and 'Heladito' are my other highlights of the album tracks. I don't know that the additional Rauw Alejandro improves much on the original but I did like 'NO HAY LEY' as a single so glad it's on an album in some form now, and 'Muñekita' is a good mindless reggaetón/dembow banger too (again was a single but not heard until now).
