January 22, 20241 yr I'm curious to hear Training Season since originally that was suppose to be the lead single before last minute switch!!!
January 22, 20241 yr Author FYI, "Training Season" is one of eight songs of the album, including "Houdini", that was co-written by Dua Lipa, Caroline Ailin, Danny L Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Kevin Parker.
January 24, 20241 yr Author Next month. From The Sun: The Sun can also reveal Dua is gearing up to release the follow-up to her recent single "Houdini", which will be called "Training Season". "Houdini" peaked at No. 2 in the UK charts when it was released last November. In "Training Season", set for release next month, she sings about playing the field as a single woman. A source said: ""Training Season" is the perfect follow on from "Houdini". It's very much in the same vein and even has a slight crossover on the lyrics. The track is an electric dance earworm that will no doubt go down a treat with fans."
January 24, 20241 yr Didn't The Sun report last month that the music video was pulled because it was insensitive to the Gaza conflict?
January 24, 20241 yr omg she just send us via text a 10 second clip...I feel like Physical 2.0 is upon us :cheeseblock:
January 24, 20241 yr Author Didn't The Sun report last month that the music video was pulled because it was insensitive to the Gaza conflict?Yes, that's correct. There's a possibility that some scenes of the video were cut and replaced because it seems that this video was sponsored by Porsche. Also, as a side note, there was some information that Dua shot a music video on January 11 in LA, although it's unknown whether it's for "Training Season" (in case that first video was totally shelved) or another song.
January 25, 20241 yr Nice but we need the album date and title too. Why the release date is 3 weeks away? Looking forward to this of course! Edited January 25, 20241 yr by Sour Candy
January 25, 20241 yr :cheer: loved 'Houdini' and am very much ready for more. It's (finally) post-Christmas payday tomorrow so treated myself to the £6.97 vinyl, CD and cassette bundle - a bargain compared to the prices I paid for the Ariana physicals recently
January 25, 20241 yr Ooh, exciting! Loving the prospect of Kevin Parker potentially co-writing eight songs on the album (even if it does mean Tame Impala's next album won't come very soon)
January 25, 20241 yr Hold on, does that mean it won't be performed at the Grammys if that's on the 4th and this is out on the 15th?
January 25, 20241 yr I’m sure she’s giving Houdini that extra push in US by performing on Grammy’s, while this will be performed at the Brits!!! There is 30 second clip on YT and after the chorus there is a synth piece which sounds heaven
