Had no idea there was a <4 minute version of Never Ever. Even Now 39 used the 5 min version which is the official single version.

Most compilations nowadays use the radio edit. It’s very rare to find the album version on a compilation

Wow! There's a lot of great stuff on NOW 120! Immediate thoughts: Tracks 1-7 being songs by the Pop Girls! Iconic! Brilliant! It's what we deserve! APT. is here! That follows "Gangam Style", "Gentle

I didn’t know the album version was 6:29. I always thought that the 5:13 version was the album version and as for Sabrina, I reckon they’ll only include Bed Chem on Now 120 and save Busy Woman for Now 121

Meanwhile, Robbie's Millennium is the album version, as there's an extra verse I'm not as familiar with.

I've gone through all of Disc 1, which is great (maybe aside from Gloria Estefan, which while a nice song doesn't feel as essential as the rest of the disc and maybe could have been on the Extra - I know Ricky peaked lower but that was a huge global hit). But really, banger after banger.

Catatonia feels like it should have been on Disc 2, not quite sure it fits between Fat Les and Culture Club when I flicked through?

This album has made me realise what a strong year Sweden had - Ace of Base, Emilia, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Robyn, Meja, The Cardigans...and those are just the ones that made the cut.

As it mentions in the booklet, this year was all about being Irish or Scandinavian.
I’m expecting the extra edition to be announced on Thursday and to see what it has in store for us
Shame it’s a vinyl only album :( I hope they do a CD version titled Now That’s What I Call Clubland and that Now Presents Clubland has selected songs with Now That’s What I Call Clubland being the full album

That’s what it says on amazon and it also says free delivery 4th April. I wonder if that’s them hinting that the release date might end up being pushed back a week to 4th April? They have moved the release dates for some of their spin-offs in the past. I remember last year when extra 1990 was originally scheduled for 8th March then it got pushed back a week to 15th March

Well this is a bit of a dream. I've been thinking about getting the 100% Clubland album (the first one) but may not have to if this is coming

Now Presents...

I do wonder if somebody there has noticed Buzzjack Presents

I'll buy this as I love Clubland and all of the artists related to it (where else will Kelly Llorenna be on the cover), but shame if there is no vinyl as I'd love to have some of these classics on vinyl.

Amazon free delivery day means nothing useful, they have got so crap recently with delivery. Now Vault 1980 is currently showing with a delivery day of Thurs 6th March for me, for example.

I wonder if the album will be mixed or unmixed? If it’s mixed, I’ll just download it. And in my opinion, they should change the release date so they can release extra 1998 on 28th March like they should. Someone pointed out that the Now logo is similar to Now magazine

I guess it will be an unmixed album, hopefully some interesting track choices on there.

It makes me a bit sad in some ways that the compilation market is so dead that every themed release (Clubland/Disney/Eurovision) has to be released under Now branding and can't just be pushed in its own right.

I wish the Clubland numbered series was still a thing, although it did lose its way quite a bit by the later volumes and became just another commercial dance hits and remixes of pop songs album really. The volumes from 2002-2006 were pretty much all fantastic, I made so many great discoveries on them.

Shame they parted with 100 Hits as they had some good releases and were selling well

^ March 28th it is.

This is wayyy more interesting than I expected, with some interesting picks and lots of remixes I don't have anywhere, so for sure I'll buy it.

Weird crediting for Love Inc and Alice Deejay these days, but I guess those are new label stipulations.

Liz McClarnon getting her spot on a Now spinoff *.* Euphoria remix *.* Double Kelly Llorenna *.*

I like the way it's a good mix of classic Eurodance and Clubland stuff, and not just the main album stuff but a bit of the hardcore stuff too. Good job Now!

Good track list and I hope that extra 1998 gets announced next week as we’re over an extra edition as we normally get them 6 weeks after the main edition. If they announce it next week and release it on 4th April, then they’re going over the 6 week gap and I can see the April release schedule being extra 1998 4th April, Now 120 11th April and 12" 1984 part 2 18th April
Some very inspired choices there, love it. Not sure of the necessity in having More & More twice, the original would've sufficed but the Jomarijan version is a stomper.
