March 24, 20241 yr Author 1 1 26 RELEASE - 220 KID & ASDIS 1563950 This was a Buzzjack Song Contest entry in late 2022, a dance track I took a shine to, and then dominated my charts in early January of 2023, it's right up my street, powerful dance production, soulful vocal, and hooks to die for. Vary the production to whatever is the current sound of any particular era to club along with and it could easily have been a hit - except it wasn't! 220 KID is aka William Graydon, English DJ and record producer who'd had a 2020 UK hit with Don't Need Love (top 10) and remixed the huge 2021 Wellerman hit for Nathan Evans and Billen Ted, and ASDIS is an Icelandic power vocalist who has just had a great single out with Purple Disco Machine, Beat Of Your Heart. Not only was this brilliant dance song not a hit, it's not even listed on 220 KID's wikipedia discography page, shorley shome mishtake! Cos I bought it, so I know it exists...! Put your head between some great stereo speakers, press play, and play loud, I suggest. As I said previously, I get severely confused by what gets to be a hit and what doesn't.
