J. Cole more like L. Cole

“ They gone see I'm the one when the dust settles

They gone see I'm the one

A-B-C-D-E-F-G, H-I-J-K, M-N-O-P

That's little me in the classroom asking, "What's L?"

I never been known to take those”

Couldn’t believe they were real lyrics 😄

I have to say the Amazon chart is looking the "freshest" I've ever seen it recently. In part thanks to a number of album bombs. There are still a number of older songs/random songs in the chart, but a lot of newer music in the top 100 (and beyond).

I just hope the new ones from David Guetta and Glass Animals can debut on Spotify today.

J. Cole has apologised for dissing Kendrick Lamar on ‘7 Minute Drill’, and announced that the song will be taken off streaming platforms.

I wouldn’t expect either to without some good playlisting, which I don’t think either have at the moment - certainly not HHUK.

Flipping beyond laughable this one. Releasing to try and get attention and suddenly realising Drake isn't kingpin anymore and trying to belatedly suck up to Lamar by taking it off streaming platforms. Rappers apologising for dissing eachother? Come off it.

It’s quite amusing that the album title wasn’t wrong though, ‘Might Delete Later’!

Hoping JoJo Siwa can make the top 200 a lot of people think it’s impossible but I’m an optimist

This!!!! No wonder Drek gets people to write his lyrics, when J Cole's own uh ... talent ... stretches ro those shocking lyrics above!!!

A lot of people also think the song is awful.

Yeah, if it was going to make the Top 200 anywhere, I think it would’ve done so on its first day from curiosity streams.

For what it’s worth, it’s not even in the Apple Music UK ”Pop” Top 200 either.

Although looks like he's only apologising for dissing Kendrick, not for the track's transphobic content

This Jojo siwa opened with 500k in the uk on Youtube

But hard to tell on Yt if those are real, bots, adds, autoplay

Some movers on the Apple chart:

75. Benson Boone - Cry

87. Glass Animals - Creatures in Heaven

149. Bakar - Hell N Back (feat. Summer Walker)

160. David Guetta & OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait

174. Good Neighbours - Keep It Up

First two days 720,228 which is really strong. Might be able to chart in the top 100 based on youtube views alone if they hold up. 720,228 translates to ~1,200-7,200 sales depending on the ratio of premium/ad-supported streams.

Benson's In the Stars back in at #193 on Apple, Cry now up to #74 (Slow It Down still hasn't shown up though...!)

That's quite strange considering "Slow It down" is #6 on Amazon and is top 40 on spotify!

Amazon:

15. Imagine Dragons - "Eyes Closed" (hopefully top 10 soon!)

127. Jojo Siwa - "Karma"

The Jojo Siwa song is starting to go viral on TikTok apparently so may start appearing on Apple Music/Spotify soon.
