Autoplay boosts *are* a thing, we saw them in action in 2023 when songs like Stephen Sanchez's Until I Found You had huge gains for a week and suddenly dropped.

 

And how do you know that was autoplay? Could have bots, fan spam, went viral somewhere that week.

Do you why I predicted Sabrina despite her never being ahead of Hozier at that point because I could see the trend was Hozier tailing off and Sabrina about to skyrocket. I do not work for spotify I had no prior knowledge of some autoplay boost. So then that plays out and people say its autoplay, undoubtably there is autoplay but I wouldn't really class it as a notable factor. If there is occasions where it's real and out of sync with natural trends then people are allowing themselves to use those occasions and badly apply it to any fluctuation in numbers. But it is what it is, no way to prove any of this.

 

Kendrick diss did massive numbers today and for a 6+ minute song really impressive.

It's just a bit convenient that people notice certain songs on autoplay more regularly during a week where they have a swift rise, followed by a steep drop at the end. I don't know why you're so intent on saying autoplay boosts aren't a thing...!

Sabrina down 100k today from yesterday as well as a bunch of other songs having massive climbs/falls suggests to me a change in the auto play occurred yesterday.

 

Obviously Sabrina’s numbers are still massive without it but that big drop Tuesday to Wednesday has to be an autoplay thing for me

Totally, a 100K drop midweek when all other songs are stable can only be autopayola goodbye

Is there a reason those two Script songs are showing up?

 

Auto play - They always come on after my playlist finishes, despite me only having one Script song in the playlist of over 300 songs

I guess they might be but I was just wondering why 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' in particular managed a new peak.
Also aren't these two Script tracks pretty much mainstays that always pop in and out of this chart?

 

Not particularly - The Man Who Can’t Be Moved has only spent 41 days in the Spotify chart since 2017 (most of them this year). Breakeven only has 12 days in.

that ‘MILLION DOLLAR BABY’ song is great, a very good modern interpretation of Memphis Rap - it sounds like it’ll be a top 5 hit at the very minimum!
