Eminem has announced that his first studio album in 4 years will be released this Summer! The announcement of this album has shocked many fans of Eminem across the world due to the fact that the infamous and beloved Slim Shady has died (as the title suggests) :o

His biggest hits in recent years have had big-name features (Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna twice) so I wonder who will be on single 1. Taylor Swift?
Juice WRLD erasure x

I included him at first but then he wasn’t in the same league as the others

Still need a proper Eminem x Jack Harlow collaboration release, not just a remix.

Well, MTBMB has NO pre-xxx at all iirc.

I guess either Em or the label want to make the album war more interesting.

Fingers crossed he gets #1 and that Taylor Swift doesn’t try another tactic to stop him going #1
It looks like the album is only being released digitally on Friday as I haven’t seen anywhere having physicals up for pre-order
Even if no physical on the 12th he should still do enough for number 1.

I hope so. Maybe he’s doing a Beyoncé and releasing the physical later on

Very bad move if that’s the case, will hurt sales in a big way

Yep. Take BMTH for instance, they could’ve gone #1 if they’d have released a physical equivalent of the album

That was a surprise release tbf, and will probably get to #1 when the physicals do release anyway.

Turns out he does have vinyl cd cassette etc just made it impossible to pre-order and difficult to find even now for some reason
If he misses #1, it would be his own fault for not releasing a physical equivalent. According to his website, the physical equivalents of the album don’t ship until 13th September which is when I imagine that he’s releasing them
