Well, I hate to come here as the only post so far of not complete positivity but I’m a little disappointed :( I do like pretty much every song and I particularly like the run of How Bad Do U Want Me

Garden of Eden is a 11111111/10 song. It’s so SOO The Fame meets ARTPOP.

Perfect Celebrity is Gaga’s attempt in making a heavy metal-pop song. It’s lush!! 9/10

So many 80s influences so far.... loving it! Prince/Bowie vibes on several tracks..... and I think "How Bad Do U Want Me" samples Yazoo's Only You?

How Bad U Want Me is….very reputation Taylor Swift.

So far the entire album is very very 80s, and it actually makes Die With A Smile not so out of place as the last track on the album.

Unsure as there’s bonus tracks depending on which you purchase from.

There are several standouts on the album, and for the first time in a LOONNNG time Gaga actually has a handover of single materials to choose from.

Highlights are Garden of Eden, Zombieboy, Killah, Shadow of a Man, How Bad Do U Want Me (Gaga interpretation of Taylor Swift), Killah and Perfect Celebrity.

(Basically Blade of Grass and The Beast can be binned, and once again Gaga cannot sing a slow ballad properly)

I’ve not listened yet trying to wait till midnight

No doubt I’ll love the two ballads

Love LoveDrug, How Bad Do You Want Me and Perfect Celebrity so much!

omg the way i can't wait for this 😭

all the reactions I've seen on here make it seem like this is Born This Way meets Chromatica so I'm even more excited now

umm... this is a take? She can't sing slow ballads? Have you heard the ASIB soundtrack??

Blade Of Grass is absolutely STUNNING and so so meaningful. It hits hard and makes me so happy to hear how in love she is.

One of my favourite things about the album is the fact it's a JOURNEY. It's MAYHEM for sure but gradually gets more subdued and calmer as it goes before the final 3 tracks really slow down proceedings. Because of that Die With A Smile is a gorgeous closer and I think it makes sense now after The Beast and Blade of Grass.

But the first half of the album is where it's really at for me. Absolute BANGERS with interesting production and my GOD the outros !!

I stand by my opinion, in that rarely ever does she properly deliver in a ballad. Even in ASIB she does belt a lot and over sing, like sometimes she needs to take a leaf out of Rihanna’s books when it comes to ballads as that’s where as a pop star she shines!

This is Gaga’s most consistent piece of work, and perhaps the Blade of Grass will grow on me? Right now it’s just…no (the lyrics and how in love is endearing but when I listen to music, lyrics isn’t the be all end of given how I frequent songs which I don’t understand the language of).

Right now the entire album slots in behind The Fame Monster for me, and is #2 in my album rankings with Born This Way at #3!

I’m slightly disappointed her store has shipped 2 of my orders without the signed art cards (apparently it’s one per person) I ordered the silver vinyl bundle, Cd bundle and Cassette bundle and they’ve literally removed the art card out of 2 of the orders.

Really don’t like the universal store they seem to just do want they want and ship the products anyway. I knew it stated 1 per person but it didn’t specify this was the art card I assumed it meant of that particular bundle :/

Is it too early to say this may be my favourite album of hers, pure pop brilliance. Can't wait to digest it more.

It’s definitely very 80s! I heard mixed things about Killah but I love it, it’s very Prince. Garden Of Eden and Perfect Celebrity are my highlights from the other new songs.

I don’t think I expected the album to be like this but it feels right, honestly it kind of feels like an Ally album through the lens of Lady Gaga which is absolutely a good thing.

The Prince influence is gigantic on Killah! As a humongous Prince stan, it obviously grabbed me instantly. Also can definitely hear the MJ vibes on Shadow of a Man (explaining her MJ moves when the song was teased on the Chromatica Ball film!)
