It did have a 2012 release, but that doesn't include every remix in existence of Something New - so hopefully there'll be a new EP for it so everything is officially available for the first time. The only thing that might stand in its way is the fact that these new Digital EPs are the same track listings as the discs in the Girls Aloud Box Set... which only goes up to Untouchable. So whether that makes the label overlook Something New... well, we'll see. Be interesting to see if they acknowledge Beautiful cause you love me or just sweep it under the carpet. I don't see it for Beautiful Cause You Love Me because there was never artwork or extra versions of the song* in the first place, so I don't see how it would be possible to give it an EP! * I know there was the "accidentally released on YouTube version" with more Sarah and Nadine vocals, but with that being unintentional and very swiftly replaced, I'd be surprised if they gave that version an official release.
June 3, 20241 yr I think many fans forget it was ever a single. For me it was an awful choice especially after something new which for me is just brilliant.

July 27, 2024Jul 27 Was listening to the loving kind this morning as it came on my playlist, huge pitty it was left off the tour list as for me it's a great song and right up there as one of my overall faves from them.

July 28, 2024Jul 28 Author I can't really work out where The Loving Kind could have fit into the recent show, so I understand it being a no show tbh. Have to admit it was a bit of an energy dip at the Out of Control tour, and maybe the girls sensed that, seeing as they've now snubbed it from two hits related tours. Maybe The Loving Kind is the sort of song that works gloriously in studio form but just doesn't translate well for a tour performance?
