Posted June 6, 20241 yr Chart 7.6.24 Its been a close battle for the #1 this week. Phoebe Bridgers was on track to reclaim it with Waiting Room after I got my first tattoo that icludes the lyrics 'I know it's for the better', but (although back now) the song was removed from Spotify earlier this week handicapping its strong lead leaving it to settle for #4 this week. By Sunday with Waiting Room knocked back it was a two-horse race between Down Bad and Risk to claim it this week, and in the end Down Bad re-claims it for a 2nd week. Risk still has a chance in future weeks though, with the release of Gracie's new album at the end of the month! The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived slips to #3. Lola Young returns to form with Messy, new in at #5. Becky Hill also has impact as she released her 2nd album Believe Me Now?. Swim enters at #6 and Darkest Hour is at #8. True Colours also debuts at #14, and theres more album tracks and pre-release singles lower down! Charli XCX climbs to #7 with 360, thanks to a remix from Robyn & Yung Lean. I was lucky enough to grab a wristband to attend the Genesis exhibition in London on Saturday, which was essentially a free concert to hear the song, and it is a masterpiece!
