It wouldn't be Wimbledon for me, if I didn't hear these two pieces of music:

Sinner favourite is surprising with his grass record. Alcaraz should walk this with ease if Djok is a no show.

There's about a zero percent chance of Swiatek winning. And what a joke that the REIGNING champion is at 40-1. In what other sport?

Naomi Osaka said it "feels like a dream" as she made a winning return on her first appearance at Wimbledon for five years.

The four-time Grand Slam champion came through 6-1 1-6 6-4 against Diane Parry on court two.

Japan's Osaka returned to the tour in 2024 after giving birth to her first child, daughter Shai, a year ago.

The 26-year-old, who is now ranked 113rd in the world, was injured in 2022 and also missed the 2021 tournament while taking time off to deal with mental health issues.

Saw today it is the first time since 2006 that no Williams sister is appearing at Wimbledon!

Watched the Raducanu match yesterday. Her opponent played extremely well for someone who only found out they were playing (as a lucky loser) that morning! That being said, unless Emma grows throughout the tournament, I can't see her going far.

Draper today! Hoping for 3 wins from him at least.

Sabalenka and Azarenka out already cos of injuries

that Andreeva Russian teen that did so well on RG, out on R1 after playing pretty terribly

Andy Murray has decided not to play in the Wimbledon singles, instead making his farewell to the All England Club in the doubles alongside older brother Jamie.

Murray, who is planning to retire later this year, had surgery 10 days ago on a back issue.

Sinner favourite is surprising with his grass record. Alcaraz should walk this with ease if Djok is a no show.

Wimbledon was his best performance at a slam last year, so I don't think it's a stretch at all for him to be the favourite when he's also now world #1. I would give the edge to Alcaraz though, especially given that Sinner losing to Berrettini in the second round wouldn't be that much of a shock if the latter is fully fit.

Yeah, I didn't expect that match to be such a tough win for her, so I don't want to set my expectations too high. That quarter of the draw is looking pretty open though without Sabalenka...

Big upset, and her sister got through as a lucky loser

I think she got jinxed by some tennis commentator on Twitter pointing out that she's going to be the exact same age (to the day) on the day of the final, as Sharapova was when she won Wimbledon

Only the second time ever the defending champion loses in the first round.

Curious to see who the next flash in the pan player is to beat Jabeur in the final.

Jack Draper putting us through all the nerves there & finally coming through a five setter against someone playing much better than their ranking.

Two British duels in round 2 (Corrie vs Draper & Boulter vs Dart)

Mad to see the reigning women's champion go out in round 1.......Think I saw that has only happened a handful of times at Wimbledon

Vondrousova played very bad...

I see Rublev is also out on R1
