Posted July 8, 20242 yr It’s been four and a half years now since we had any new music from Courteeners! They’re back tomorrow with ‘Solitude of the Night Bus’. View this post on Instagram
July 10, 20242 yr Author Here it is! Probably my favourite lead single from them in quite some time. New album 'Pink Cactus Café' is out on October 25th, and it includes a collab with DMA'S! It looks like they're an official five-piece now too, with their two touring members now appearing in photoshoots. Tracklisting: 1. Sweet Surrender (feat. Brooke Combe) 2. Weekend Shy Of A Feeling 3. Pink Cactus Café 4. Where Are We Now? 5. The Beginning Of The End (feat. DMA'S) 6. Solitude Of The Night Bus 7. First Name Terms (feat. Pixey) 8. Lu Lu 9. Love You Any Less 10. September 12, 20242 yr Author Out now! Very catchy, a shame it didn't come out a few months ago though! It would've sounded great in the sun. gDBCFXEVoiI
October 15, 20242 yr Author A bit of a different vibe for them! Reminds me a little of Kula Shaker. BPNBk1IIFLQ
October 28, 20241 yr What's peoples thoughts on this album, had a few listens, probably 6 or 7/10 for me at the most. Pink Cactus Café & Solitude Of The Night Bus the two best songs on it.
October 28, 20241 yr Author Not heard it yet, but I'm hoping it'll be #1 in the midweek chart update later!
October 28, 20241 yr #1 in the mids indeed and with nearly 20K and a huge lead, it looks like a dead cert #1
October 28, 20241 yr Was expecting to like the album as I quite enjoyed the previous two, but found this one a bit boring, a couple of tracks aside.
November 1, 20241 yr Poor Courteeners being denied their second #1 album at the very last minute, they must be disappointed.
November 2, 20241 yr I'd say they are as they were number 1 all week and lost out by so little, they should have pushed more later in the week but they probably thought the number 1 was in the bag like most of us.
November 2, 20241 yr The streams were probably hard for their record label to realise they were in danger (think Tyler had 15k)
November 22, 20241 yr The Beginning Of The End with DMA'S is the next single, with the radio edit out today 9KrJaQI4-Nk
