This is the 100 most watched TV programmes of all times in the UK. Only the highest viewing figures of each programme is included, and this list includes regular programmes, one off events, news events, sporting events etc.

Until August 1977, JICTAR used number of homes rather than total number of viewers, I’m using a multiplier of 2.2 as that seems to be the industry standard.
