July 26, 2024Jul 26 Hey Jade! Wow Chappell. I didn't expect good luck babe to go to #1 here despite it's rebound in recent weeks. Great song though! Birds of a feather still climbing is great as well. This has really surprised. I'm especially wowed at its performance on Spotify and the charts worldwide. Oh look, you're on your own chart 😝 I absolutely f***ing love angel of my dreams. Best debut by an artist in months by a mile :cheer: it's looking massively likely to debut in my top 10 on Sunday as well which would be surprising! I moved my chart forward to a Sunday to reflect new entries entering my chart the week after they're released better. I'm so happy to see apple doing well. Should debut on my chart soon. The girl so confusing is really not living up to the hype here. Fab chart ^_^

Yes what a result for Chappell *.* I had a bit of a moment with the song this week and it has catapulted up to #1 as a result, what a slow-burn run! 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' has really crept up on me after other songs on the album had more immediately attention-grabbing production and lyrics. It's beautiful, hope it can be a future U.K. #1 still. Haha, my namesake has truly delivered! I was a bit unsure of the verses at first but the whole package has really clicked now, cannot wait to see what else she has in store. 'Apple' is so accessible and catchy so can see why it has taken off in the way it has! July 28, 2024Jul 28 Hi Jade! Chappell at #1 :cheer: It did take a while to click with me but it has become of my favourite chart hits of the year! I'm desperate to see it at #1 and I do think it could be an actual possibility if 'Please Please Please' continues its decline in sales. If Chappell released some CDs for 'Good Luck, Babe!' that would be a pretty wise decision chart-wise considering she has a huge following! 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' would be a fantastic #1 as well :heart: 'Floor' is a fantastic BJSC entry :wub: I'm really rooting for it to be a success for you :cheer: 'Gem Lingo' is a massive banger, hopefully a project from Overmono isn't too far away as their recent material has been amazing! I did enjoy 'I Am The King' a bit but it certainly felt like more of an interlude in comparison to 'Wither' which is more of a return to their trademark unhinged sound :wub: I feel blessed to have managed to pre-order a stunning Blood Records variant of 'WOOF' just before it sold-out, I have high hopes for the album! I really did not care for any solo LM releases but 'Angel Of My Dreams' is a STATEMENT. Of all the members, Jade certainly knows where is best to put her talents into. I also demand Jade to release 'It Girl' asap x. Great that 'Apple' seems to be on the climb again! Charli seems to be teasing new music that may be coming this week :cheer: I've also heard many rumours that she may release a Chappell Roan duet soon :o 'Drive' a fab offering from TSHA. 'In The Night' :heart: I would highly recommend listening to 'Bando Stone and The New World' if you haven't already, I really enjoyed it and it does serve as a very fitting send-off to the character of Childish Gambino. The feature list is pretty diverse as well, I didn't think I'd ever see a tracklist in my life that featured both Yeat and Khruangbin :lol: Additionally there are some fantastic experimental tunes scattered across it. 'In The Night' is one of the best tracks from it, Jorja and Amaarae's performances are particularly powerful. This week I managed to secure tickets to see Childish Gambino on his upcoming tour which is definitely a factor to why I'm so enthusiastic about this album :lol:

The demand for the 'Pink Pony Club' Record Store Day vinyl understandably sky-rocketed once she blew up so definitely looks like she's quickly cultivated a proper stan base. Failing that, yes, Billie #1 instead please! :lol: Oh wow I'm delighted that you're liking 'Floor' :wub: I have absolutely no idea what to expect for it in the final so that results thread shall be an interesting experience. Fingers crossed for a new Overmono project indeed, they're always on point! Yeah 'I Am The King' was fine but it was giving me album track more than anything else. I'm much more sold on 'Wither' as a pre-album release *.* bring on the whole project <3 'Angel of My Dreams' is the first solo LM release that I've charted as well, what a start from my namesake!
