As it always crops up, I’ll mention it again haha

It is normal for the large majority of their tracks to get 4-6 weeks on the playlist, 5 weeks is the most common at the moment. It’s not weird for them, she may be your favourite artist right now, but they’re just following their playlist rules. The playlist is smaller than the other BBC stations so they’re going to clear out more often. The odd song, rarely, gets more than 5 weeks but they’re usually the (sorry to say it) more popular/commercially successful tracks.

Save A Kiss will be played until Friday afternoon so they won’t have dumped it on album release week as the new list doesn’t start until Saturday.

It's not weird for them but it is weird. It's extremely unhelpful that they play a song for a few weeks and just as it starts to be having an effect, they drop it. If they stuck with some of the songs for longer they could really give certain artists a real boost.

I remember reading somewhere that they refresh it so often to prevent listeners from getting bored of hearing the same tracks throughout the day. Maybe if they expanded the playlist, longer runs would work... but then would we really want 11 weeks of Erasure for instance

YAS for Husavik and Think About Things.

I just knew they'd playlist Dancing In The Moonlight at some point, ugh.

A very rare 8 weeks for Rain On Me! The last song to get that long on the playlist was Nothing Breaks Like A Heart!

Is there normally 5 songs in the C-List?

Yeah that’s the norm. 10 A, 10 B and 5 C List tracks, occasionally an extra C List track is available at a loss of one of the others

From memory they’ve not supported her since Lush Life :kink:

They supported every single recently! Like It Is was snubbed

Was Like It Is actually even sent to radio? Seems like Lose Somebody was the Kygo track that actually got pushed.
