It gets a spin on Ken Bruce’s show every day

Cool thanks.

B List

Melanie C - Who I Am [b-B-B]

Why are they not moving it to A List? It's the best song on the playlist by far.

Do they normal support the 1975? Radio 2 really is becoming more and more pop and radio 1 seems to be playing the newest artists and grime music. Is the length of time certain songs last on the playlist becoming longer or is it just me?

Are they nuts?! Playlisting a song for three weeks only is a f***ing joke!

Realistically they’ve played it for about 6-7 weeks as although it wasn’t on the playlist it was played most days as a #Newto2 song

EDIT: oops I was assuming you were just talking about Mel :kink:

No, the first time they ever appeared on the playlist was in 2018, and it was their only appearance until this week, with It's Not Living (If It's Not With You) - C List for 3 weeks

In further R2 news, regular fans of PopMaster will be keen to know that on the 25th there will be a whole day of it with rounds every hour throughout the day involving Dermot O’Leary, Ken Bruce, Claudia Winkleman, Scott Mills and Sara Cox who are on air that day along with the public and celebrity contestants.

Thanks, have you ever went on Ken Bruce's Pop Quiz?

I’m so shit at PopMaster. My 60s and 70s music knowledge is non-existent but I cackle when they get the more recent questions wrong, especially current playlist ones - kinda shows how much of a (non)impact their playlist can have I guess

Or when they ask about a massive hit from 1995 and the contestant says "oh that's too recent for me, Ken"

I do wonder what they'll showcase from Eurovision. Perched for Little Big *.* though I reckon they'll snub it and probably play James Newman every day

Iceland maybe?

Iceland maybe?

So far we’ve had:

James Newman - My Last Breath (UK)

Daði og Gagnamagnið - Think About Things (Iceland)

Tom Leeb - The Best In Me (France)

Diodato - Fai rumore (Italy)

The Mamas - Move (Sweden)

Efendi - Cleopatra (Azerbaijan)

They only play 2 tracks a day for album of the week so they’ve been varied already which is good to see
