Never thought I'd see the day!

No, there was a rumour going round that he's banned from playlists at all Global stations because he refused to play at one of their events or something like that. Not sure how true that is though!

Il take that as gospel then as it fits my stereotype as I'm not a fan of the stations.

As per the website so, as always, there may be inaccuracies compared to what they're actually playing. They've been playing a remix of This City.

I know the 1975 are more pop-rock/alternative pop but around when and more to the point why did capital stop supporting rock, pop-rock, alternative rock music and turn in to more of a rhythmic station (let’s be real) apart from the odd large hit? I’m sure they used to play artists like Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, The Killers etc. in the late 2000s
It's a real shame, I'm sure that's part of the reason why guitar based music doesn't do well in the charts any more.

No full update for Capital, but they've switched to the Beyoncé version of Savage. They're also playing Ari & Justin so it's fair to assume that's been playlisted (completely unsurprisingly).

Yeah doesn't strike me at all as a song they'll avoid. Global are little bit more rigid with their playlist changes rather than instantly adding something on the day of its release.

It's already on there, they've played it a few times. Just awaiting an update to the website page.

I'm surprised Capital hasn't added THE SCOTTS by THE SCOTTS (Travis Scott & Kid Cudi) to its playlist, despite them playlisting Travis Scott's HIGHEST IN THE ROOM last year.

Is it because it's not in The Big Top 40 chart so they don't add it to the playlist unless it's in their chart?

No, they're always a little more reluctant to support hip-hop. They're primarily a pop station really.

They play Rover by S1mba feat. DTG & ROCKSTAR by DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch during evenings and late nights.
