good Lush Life is in :)
I guess Same Old Love has been huge in America over the last couple of weeks and Capital don't care about impact weeks as much as R1 do.

So capital is the only station that have play listed more and more

So far - its impact date isn't for over a month I imagine.

What happens on impact date Joseph?

The impact date is essentially when the song's airplay will peak and it should be impacting the chart! A song is typically added to Radio 1 3-4 weeks before its impact date so it can rise up the list to get maximum impact that week ^_^

Oh right I see I know they've played more and more once so I dunno guess will just have to patient xx
Capital are notorious for playlisting songs straight away despite impact week being weeks and weeks away, then they'll play the song a few times in the first week and then just stop. They'll continue playing the song if it takes off but if it doesn't take off as quickly as they'd like it to (usually because impact date is still a week or two away) they'll never play it again during prime time but leave it on the playlist for the odd play or two at night. I fear 'More and More' could be another example of this.
Meh hope not! I'm being impatient I think it's 4-5 weeks away - impact date they're playing sax loads but not the new one ! Makes no sense

Yeah it's a bit silly really. Some songs really suffer from it. I wish they worked from impact weeks a bit more instead of just playing a song as soon as they received it. They started playing Run Away With Me waaaay before its release and then dropped it because it wasn't taking off (because they were the only ones playing it), then at the end of it's peak playlisted it again as Radio 1 took it off their playlist.

Yeah exactly! I don't listen to Capital much any more but I reckon that was the same case with 'Your Type'. It's a shame because Capital support is pretty essential for longevity.

They also did it with Living for Love, when they should have waited for when Radio 2 were playing it too.

Fleurs always on capital so I don't think they will stop playing it but wel see they're big supporters of her ATM things could change

I'm still so bitter. <_<

Capital are soooo predictable.

They play listed it far to early how stupid!!

Wonder if they'll put it back when the campaign starts going quickly

Its still on the coming soon bit, so stupid to playlist songs before there is a video and buildup
