That timing with both of us looking this week  just had a browse on Discogs and I see that 'Love Machine' and the rest of the 'Out Of Control' singles definitely have picture discs too. Imma need a boxset of all their albums on vinyl one day! 'Tangled Up' is definitely one of my most wanted items <3

Haha, i've gone through my collection and made a little list of vinyl issues to buy! Lockdown woes :drama:

It's definitely odd that they haven't capitalised on the vinyl reissue craze! 'Out of Control' especially single all 3 singles had a picture disc released. Definitely want that, 'Tangled Up' and one form of the Greatest Hits - at least!

They should really be looking into vinyl reissues and a boxset for their 20th anniversary.

I didn't realise there was a promo vinyl for Walk This Way until today!

I'm fairly certain the above is everything. Pretty much all of them are rare/expensive, maybe the picture discs are easier to buy though.

I'd absolutely love for them to issue their albums on vinyl one day, or at the very least 'Ten'!

Poor Untouchable missing another list... (7" picture disc)

At some point this week I’m gonna do a full Girls Aloud relisten!

Each of their studio albums from the beginning and then once I’ve heard them all do a rate.

Like I’m doing with Britney atm it’s been years since I heard them all as whole albums and i think it’ll almost be like listening with fresh ears.

I’ve always thought Out Of Control was my favourite. It’s also the only one which CD I can actually find I swear I bought them all but because I’ve moved out and then moved back and because it’s been so long they’ll be lying around somewhere I’m sure I have so many boxes and what not stacked with so many cds from over the years

anyways! I shall post in here throughout the week regarding my thoughts :).

Also can you believe it’s 12 year this year since their last studio album literally half my life ago

Thanks Joseph!

I’m looking forward to it. I found when doing the Britney re-listens it’s like listening for the first time and I’ll likely have different favourites to what I would’ve had at the first time of listening too.

I’m a lot more familiar with Tangled Up + Out Of Control than I am the first three as whole eras but it’s part of the appeal going back to the lesser known ones :D I’ve wanted to do it ever since Nicola done The Masked Singer and I was reminded of her vocals and I thought I really need to delve back into their catalogue.

I really hope they do get their act together and come back in a couple of years from now. They ended in such an acrimonious way... they (and we) deserve a rewritten happier ending for the group. Hopefully nostalgia would properly kick in in 2022 in a way that it just didn't in 2012, and that by then they're all mature enough to let bygones be bygones and properly appreciate their history and all they achieved.

I hope it wouldn't just be a 'celebration of the hits' sort of reunion though. It would be so great if it was like Steps and All Saints, with a brand new album - but I won't hold my breath.

I think we might get another tour like Tens tour like a greatest hits kind of tour.

New material wise I’m thinking they’re more likely to record new material than what The Spice Girls were but I’m not holding my breath.

I do think an album by them would almost certainly sell well by today’s standards though but I’d worry it would dampen their discography if we did get a full length follow up.

They would struggle in the singles market but could easily equal the recent react success by the Pussycat Dolls.

An album would easily take top 10 status and higher if they really put in the work promoting it.

I'm so here for this  Would take another hits tour tbh (although I have to say I've seen them 4 times and their Ten tour was their worst one, on my date they sounded dreadful compared to the previous concerts!)... Would love that and then a follow up with a new album they could easily keep their top 10 record streak going. I actually think a new GA album would sell better than a Cheryl one now.

Easily sell better than a new Cheryl one. I'd love them to do a Steps or All Saints but they have alot to sort out before it can even become a discussion. I know steps and all saints had big issues to overcome but they did it and I'd like to think the girls can do it aswell.
It’s hard to believe their reunion was almost 10 years ago... time flies 😂

Those 10 years passed too quickly.

That said, it is 10 years closer to another reunion.
