6 miles it will probably be, nothing like a challenge :cheer: Will need to start training on Monday :D

Online fundraising web page and signing up shall be done tomorrow :D

i'm sort of dithering aren't I :kink:

It's definitely not gonna be 1 mile, I can walk that in 10 minutes

I walked 12 miles once before. :D In year 7 when we did a sponsored walk.

MEMORIES.

Good luck Matt_Aloud :cheer:

wow that's quite a distance for walking :D most I've done is cross country at school, and the annual 3 mile trek to the firework display and 3 mile trek back

Thank you! :cheer:

have to sort my training plan out next :cheer:

Yeah, we had a break after 6 miles. So it wasn't that bad but my feet were still killing me by the end of it. :(

Training plan, eh? I wouldn't have a clue where to start. :kink:

I'm a member on a website that does training plans but they're all 16 weeks so I have to sort of squash them into under 8 weeks

Just noticed entry to the Great North Run is open :kink: 13 miles of  running/jogging/walking/crawling

antiseptic spray stings

should be back running on Wednesday or Thursday :cheer:

I would WALK IT. As in literally, walk. No running pour moi merci :drama:

I would run for a bit, collapse about 1/4 of the way through then walk the rest.

...Or at least that's what I used to do in cross country at school, except without collapsing. :heehee:

cross country was about the only thing I liked in P.E. and I missed all three, one year due to Able and Talented stuff :(

hated Rugby, never got going in Basketball, might as well bought a deckchair for Cricket, no-one wanted me in their team on football even know I absolutely whooped them all :(

I did have a little skill for Badminton though :kink:

Today I managed just about 1 kilometre in 6 mins 50 minutes :cheer:
