I listened to this in full last night for the first time in a while. So many of the album tracks still stand the test of time even now!

UK Albums Chart 36 43 342 The Fame, Lady Gaga (peak: 1) The first week in top 40 since August 2023 and 134th overall.

Hopefully a return to form once the festive period is over. The album usually does well for NYE / NYD parties! Hopefully it sneaks just a single place climb on next weeks chart.

Good to see it’s still top 100 though! And not long until the 400 weeks milestone 🫶🏽 (I actually still remember the 200 weeks milestone feeling pretty recent?!).

There is still some habit of people buying physical albums as present to music fans which is why several "weirder" old albums are in top 75 (Nirvana, Stone Roses, Jeff Buckley..) I think this will return into top 75 in two weeks.

Interesting you say this as I noticed Back to Black and Born To Die had both climbed quite significantly the last few weeks and I’d wondered on the reason.

The Fame usually does well weekly anyways though. Ready for its top 75 return come January if not this week as it’s there at the midweek point.

Fun fact: Gaga had both the 46th biggest song and album this year!
