Everyone is entitled to their opinion because that's what Gaga does, she has something in her sleeve for everyone. It's pretty baffling that people still think that Gaga should release only certain type of music after all the years she has been exploring (same applies to her acting: the roles in AHS, ASIB, HoG and Joker have pretty much nothing in common).

I visited Popjustice and it's pretty wild - people are so mad at her lol

Like what even is "her fanbase"?

Girl, 9 out of 10 of your posts are ridiculous.

Firstly I'm a man x buttttttt Absolutely lol my autistic side really doesn't show well on this forum hahaha but gotta love it haven't you

Actually in all seriousness I think she has several fanbases now those from the early days those from ASIB and those from her jazz

And I'd say she probably is the one is not the only BPG that has a wide age audience. And this type of song probably reaches the majority of it

The versatility that she is still kinda blows my mind when I think about her releases. I’m so glad that 14 year old me seen something in the Just Dance girlie who would go onto become my number one person in entertainment. I think even then I kinda just seen something that I couldn’t particularly describe but whatever IT is she has IT.
It does kind of baffle me how she managed to course correct after artpop. If you think about it she only has been huge with The Fame and ASIB, but her prescene personality and versatility has truly made her one of the kind. If she released music more often (which she should) the numbers would be crazy. My nan and grandad like her and my 12 year old cousin likes her, that's success x

This!! BTW was a major missfire and almost killed her career. It took ASIB to course correct that. Only problem iw, now she csn be more Lady BoreGa, lile with thid snag and Olynoics, than Lady GaGa

Yeah comments like "her fanbase" or so funny to see. The fanbase they're referring to are the Twitter gays, let's be real? Her reach goes far beyond that and while not every grouping is here for every era, each album has its own fanbase that gets behind it (and then the die hard lot like me that are always here for her )
I also feel like if she would have relased Joanne (her best album) after ASIB and not Artflop with her new found fanbase it would have been quite simply and rightly massive x
It’s boring, but it’s inoffensive I guess. It’s definitely no Shallow, or Always Remember Us This Way.

BTW was to out there at the time but it is an absolute fantastic album, aged incredibly well and sounds better in today's climate (bar Marry The Night). I wouldn't class it as a miss fire just not executed right at the time

This is an interesting take! :o I'd love to see what would've happened with Joanne had it been the follow-up to A Star Is Born.

I also think the album itself would’ve done better (Million Reasons might’ve become a UK top 10 as well as that actually did really well despite its misleading peak).

However with Joanne I think even in 2016 the album would’ve done a lot better had we got a different lead single!

I would have gone single wise

Diamond Heart

A YO

Million Reasons and Album release

John Wayne

Joanne

Even in 2024 I could see songs like Diamond Heart A YO smashing

Diamond Heart as a lead is my choice too! Perfect Illusion was not what Joanne stood for as an era at all - such an odd choice to begin the era!?

This is very par for the course for Bruno (it's reminding me more of Too Good To Say Goodbye) but for Gaga this 70's Carpenters-esque balladeer is a welcome surprise from her.

bruh Diamond Heart would have SLAYED as a lead, it's a good blend of old Gaga and what she was trying to bring to Joanne
