This song is an instant hit for me, very much ‘Shallow’ was. ‘Hold My Hand’ cannot compare, it is by far so inferior to this.

The minute it was released, I cried and cried because of how beautiful it is and how I really relate to it.

It deserves to be a mammoth of a #1, and a slow burner one too.

Another point to add, but this paves VERY WELL for the success for LG7.

The success of this being a hit, and if Joker aligns well for Gaga as well to be a box office success and rave critical reviews, then LG7 will be huge for her.

AND f***ING MUCH DESERVED.

!!! Oricon YES   Glad you're a fan!

Saying you cried when you first heard it is a mood - the hold she has on us even 16 years later

Yeh I've said from the start this year her next era is going to be massive quote possibly biggest since the Fame. Ladies, I think we are in for a very successful time for her
The thing with Gaga other pop girls may have successfull and bigger eras but I think with gaga we are looking at a lifetime of success not a decade span if that makes sense

Agree! She will be relevant in her own way forever

I have a feeling that DWAS actually has a shot for #1 on Hot 100 next week, depending on how Sabrina Carpenter's album will do - will there be third smash hit right away?

People keep forgetting that The Fame/The Fame Monster was a monster of an era. She was untouchable at that period and was the peek of her career.

That’s something she’s achieved already, but with her lasting this long is indeed of an achievement. I mean you can have a look at the likes of Katy Perry etc, she’s miles above pop stars who came out roughly the same time as her.

I mean GaGa was the biggest pop star on the planet for The Fame and Fame Monster eras, she has been the biggest pop girl already. It remains one of the 30 biggest selling albums in the U.K. of all time! I’d argue she was up there for the Born this way era in terms of still being up there as one of the bigger pop girls.

I get your point though, I don’t think she will ever reach those heights or be a Taylor Swift esque monster superstar again in commercial success but she will always be successful, she has shown herself to be too versatile and talented not to be.
