I'm reasonably surprised that there weren't more nil pointers to be honest. It will be quite interesting to see what their highest rated songs are from this century.

Also - I'm disappointed to see the song I ranked last didn't finish on zero, it really is awful imo

Gutted I forgot to submit my rate!

Sometimes would've been my number one, and Love to Hate You, Always, Breathe, Oh L'amour, Fingers + Thumbs and Run to the Sun would've all scored high points from me.

Their third ineligible EP that they released- it previewed the album “Union Street” which saw the duo reinterpret their tracks in either acoustic or country and western ways. This was originally a track on their “Cowboy” album.

Tinters has nothing about this one- second single from “Tomorrow’s World”.
Bell: “It’s quite Scandinavian sounding and it’s very high as well and I’m dreading singing it, and also singers tend to stay away from singing “e”’s because they don’t sound very nice and we’ve got lots of “e”’s on the end, so it was quite shrill and we had to kind of soften it all up”

God their artwork was awful on later albums. It just all looks so cheap and poorly designed, very far removed from the likes of I Say I Say I Say or Chorus.
seems like we're losing all the ones from the 2010s

Lead track from their last album proper “The Neon” which got rave reviews and A-Iist on Radio 2 for a month. It was originally going to be called “Hey Now, Walk Through The City singing “Hallelujah” but it didn’t seem appropriate in Covid so got renamed. Bell confirmed “It’s like a call to arms really”.

Lead track from “The Violet Flame” which was co-produced by Richard X.

All This Time Still Falling Out Of Love is good so a bit sad to see that drop out so soon. I'm not sure I've ever listened to the Nightbird album in full but I do like all of the singles from it.

The others are all lower down in my rank, although Hey Now (Think I Got a Feeling) is kinda catchy and a bit better than I remembered it being from the time.

Christmas 2013 and Erasure’s turn to do that Christmas album! This was a version of a medieval Latin carol which had been a hit for Steeleye Span in 1973 (UK#14). Erasure’s version- not so popular.

Third and final single from “Tomorrow’s World”. Bell: “This is our real Kylie/Robyn track, very optimistic and was originally called “Big song”.
Clarke: “I really love this song, one of our best on the album, that was always going to be a single”
