Whilst I will champion Disease all day, it really is not doing well, eh? The #27 peak in the US is particularly surprising.

 

I don't know what people feel like she's done wrong. Is it too safe? Too Gaga? I would have thought that would be celebrated rather than if she released some great change in style and it didn't stick.

 

I'm just surprised as when it was first released it seemed like the buzz was everything.

 

 

The song didn't live up to the hype. It's a hard song even for us hardcore fans, let alone gp. I hope she comes up with something more accessible on single 2 (Zombie bride or dance in the shadow please).

Hmm I think it's doing alright, but it's a proper hit only in the countries that support her the most. For instance here it's among the top 20 international songs all the time and comfortably charting on Spotify. It's somewhere between Perfect Illusion and Stupid Love in terms of chart success.

 

#27 in the UK mids today.
