It enters Spotify Brasil at #8 with 822,119 streams, her biggest debut along with Rain on Me which also did 822k. Also #1 on Apple Music.

Brazil showing how it's done as usual  She better not do us dirty on the tour.

I've always loved Disease. MAYHEM is such a good album, and this remains my favourite on it. So glad that people are coming around to it now!

This is a MUST watch. The creativity and choreography is amazing, and certainly is one of the best fan mades I’ve seen that uses Gaga’s song and inspiration? https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJ4Zqu5I5I

I loved it on the first listen, I've downloaded a copy on iTunes and I've listened non stop all weekend on Spotify. I really hope we get the video soon.

Still holding at #7 on AM and #1 in major cities like London, Manchester etc. Pretty good. Expecting a mild drop on Spotify but not too bad I hope. Random question but does anyone know how much bigger Spotify is than AM? Twice as big? I've noticed songs I'm rooting for tend to do better on AM so I'm hoping it makes up some ground in popularity lol

29 on Spotify UK today 😢 hope it doesn’t fall any further

#23 and #29 in the US and UK at this stage isn’t great… but with such a muted release for a lead single, and the Bruno collab and her just releasing a soundtrack album for a high profile film, it was always going to be a big ask. I still believe that a top 10 debut officially should be possible.

Now she’s needs to release a killer music video ASAP to get everyone talking!

Not too sad at the drop just because it was to be expected in a sense. I think we might see stability / perhaps increases from Monday though and other platforms such as Apple and Amazon are showing stability / increases. I think the goal here could be more long term and not throwing everything towards a huge debut.

Top 10 debut I’d be pleased with

Yeah, and she's probably not going to release anything else this year (we have got LOADS already lol) so she'll probably spread the video/physicals etc. onto several weeks. Which is not ideal in terms of first week position but in the long run no one will care if Disease debuts at #7 instead of #5 or sth. What we DO care about is getting quality stuff and I have high hopes for the video too.

Also, the promo will come with album - the Grammys, interviews, magazine covers etc. It would be crazy to do those now for only one song when she has album out later.

Ugh this is all pointing to being only semi-hit…high debut and then deep fall!!!

I’m surprised how this isn’t clicking more with people…even within gay communities, all I am hearing is that she’s going rewind and not forward with the sound!!!

It's definitely a "throw back" to her earlier days, but vocally she has never sounded like how she sounds on Disease. The vocal production and layers are immaculate here.

We held a Gaga party at local club on Friday and a friend of mine said that what makes Gaga special is that she sounds unique even if she sounds like her old self. No one is capable of imitating her, even though she is inspired by so many artists... that's a huge compliment imo.

EDIT:

Vulture placed this #15 on their "Every Gaga song ranked" list

For years, fans have wondered, could a happy, healthy Lady Gaga ever revisit the freakiest moments of her first four albums? Wonder no more: Lead LG7 single “Disease” hits with the force of an electropop sledgehammer. Gaga’s channelling the themes of sex and sickness that made “Do What U Want” and “Swine” so uncomfortably compelling. But this time, her muse has changed — she’s no longer consumed by darkness but in control of it. Co-written with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, who also encouraged her to return to pop in the first place, “Disease” is a direct f*** you to the idea that great art must come from suffering.

It's so catchy!!!! But she id no Beyoncé, and she id a B lidt star in termd of pop superstars. But at leastvwe're srill grtting music and top 10s!!! Look at Katy. Or Kesha. Or Victoria Beckham and Spice Girls!!!
