Was hoping this might get a bigger rebound, but at least it's there I suppose!

Dropped out of Hot 100 due to Bad Bunny and Lil Baby albums

I wonder if this would have got a bigger boost, or even done better in the first place, if Die With a Smile hadn't still be hanging around (and getting a boost post-Christmas itself)?

 

Or was it just that Disease, whilst a cracking pop song, was just a little bit too "Gaga By Numbers"?

 

I still love it, play it and sing along when it comes on Radio 1.

I'm cackling at Disease somehow squeezing its way off ACR several times

 

She needs to drop the pre-order for Disease physicals and ship them the week of the album's release. The song could return to the Top 10 that way.

I wanted the world for 'Disease', honestly I did but I think it's gonna take more than physicals and a small boost in streams to return it to the to the top 10 - especially if the album is miles away.

 

I assume the main focus will be on whatever the current single is by then.

I already predicted that you would think so, however, if she drops the third single with solid promotion, the song will easily go top 10 without physicals. #10 song sold 20k this week, Disease sold 7k and is once again back in SCR, that's why I said there is a shot at getting it back into top 10 with boost from the album release week + physicals.

Disease has been a mid sized hit I’d say!

 

It might’ve done stronger had the release been held back as Die With A Smile is too huge but yeah it’s done alright enough and I think it’ll be one of those tracks what gets a streaming presence / resurgence too.

 

It’s a shame we didn’t get physicals so hopefully they are still to come as I think they’d help it out. I’m almost ready for a new single now but again as Die With A Smile is still so huge I don’t want that to overshadow what’s to come next as well!

You'll still see DWAS on the charts in 2026, this song isn't going anywhere, so she shouldn't delay the album's singles rollout because of DWAS.
